We will conclude the Apostle's Fast Tuesday Evening with a Vesperal Liturgy at 6:30pm to celebrate Sts. Peter and Paul. Hope to see you there!

St. Nicholas Day Events

"O God You are wondrous in Your saints."

Fr. Nicholas Speier will be our guest speaker for the weekend (Dec 3 - 5). The schedule of events for the weekend:

Friday, 8pm: OCF Welcome and discussion with Fr. Nicholas, at the OCAA campus house
Saturday, 10am: Divine Liturgy for St. Barbara. Fr. Nicholas will be speaking on St. Barbara and the commemoration of the saints. Light refreshments following Liturgy.
Saturday, 5pm: Great Vespers for St. Nicholas. Fr. Nicholas will be speaking on the life and faith of St. Nicholas of Myra in Lycia--"a legacy of faith and love." All are encouraged to attend.
Sunday, 9am & 10am: Matins & Divine Liturgy for the Resurrection and St. Nicholas. Fellowship and feast to follow.
Sunday, 6pm: Informal receptoion and Bible study with Fr. Nicholas. At the Ellison home.

St. Nicholas Day Benevolence Project

This year to honor the memory of our parish patron, St. Nicholas, the Benevolence team is collecting items for the Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center. This year the center is need of the following items:

  • Enfamil-Lipil formula
  • Diapers, size 4 and up
  • Baby lotion
  • Rash creme
  • Winter outfits, sizes 0-6 months

Items may be dropped off in the church basement. Please help us support this community resource!

Next Sunday immediately following Divine Liturgy, Fr. James will be blessing our vehicles in remembrance of St. Elias and his departure from this temporary life in a flaming chariot. Please clean your cars inside and out and have the windows/doors open so Father can easily sprinkle the holy water on them as he goes through the parking lot.
