We discussed the range of responsibilites that fall within the oversight of this ministry team as listed below. We also reviewed budget allocations
Benevolence
Food <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Pantry Drive. We will be collecting through end of the Dormition Fast (August 1-15) and deliver the items collected to the St. Patrick’s RCC Food Pantry
Garage Sale for Hogar Raphael is targeted for a late September date
Some interest was mentioned in trying to have the sale date coincide with the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival dates. If Carol Buriak is interested we may target that date however both Nancy and Fr. James are traveling in August.
Individuals Fr. James talked about the range of requests he receives and asked for some general guidelines so deciding on limits did not fall entirely on him.
We agreed on a $100 incident/person limit. Greater needs like utility bills or larger needs will be referred back to team members for discussion. Some examples of needs currently being presented are.

Prison Ministry
Currently Fr. James is visiting one prisoner in Jacksonville State Prison.
He has received help to obtain vocational licensing, and for toiletries, etc.
Next meeting will be moved to July 29 (5th week) to accommodate travel
